OGA Tournament of Champions Scheduled for May 21-22

The 77th OGA Tournament of Champions will be played May 21-22 at Creekside Golf Club in Salem. The 36-hole stroke play competition includes men’s, women’s, senior men’s and senior women’s divisions.

There are 157 players in the 2022 field, which is made up of tournament winners from both OGA Championships and OGA Member Club events held over the last few years.

Defending champions Robbie Ziegler (Men’s) and Pat O’Donnell (Senior Men’s) are noteworthy former champions competing this year. O’Donnell is going for his fourth consecutive win in the senior men’s division, which was first included in the event back in 2016. O’Donnell won titles in 2018, 2019 and 2021 (tournament was not played in 2020).

Rosie Cook, who won the event back in 2019, is the only former champion in the women’s field.

Other former event winners in this year’s field include Jack Dukeminier (2016), Scott Larsen (2010) and Eric Fiskum (2006).

Creekside Golf Club is hosting the event for the first time in its history. Orchard Hills Country Club has the record for most times hosting the event, doing so 13 consecutive times from 1973 through 1985.
